Educated in Adelaide and Melbourne, Robert Beck has 30 years experience in Management, Sales, Delivery and Marketing in the IT & T industries.  He has worked and managed in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide. Through extensive international travel, Robert has acquired a global network and a capacity to identify overseas business assets that can be adapted to the Australian business format.

Robert transformed Ultimate in 1990 from a hardware vendor to a vertical market oriented solutions provider. He launched several innovative hardware lines including the Pyramid Unix Super Computer and the Data General Aviion Unix Server. Robert pioneered Unix on the desktop in 1991 by introducing Applixware to over 20,000 users throughout Defence, National Security Agencies, Financial Services Institutions and International Trade and Diplomatic Agencies.

Consulting assignments include automating the customer experience for ASX listed Telco, Macquarie Telecom, assisting the ANZ in 1999 to reduce HR head count from 750 to 175 whilst improving grade of service and installing the largest assisted customer self service centre in regional Australia for the Department of Defence. Robert's most recent engagements have been to assist NASDAQ listed Kanbay to transition i'ts local acquisition from "Orphan to Globally Integrated Subsidiary". Additionally Robert has provided stewardship for the launch of a significant and innovative new market offering by Australia's largest Telco.
